1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of this website and to enquiries, quotes and bookings made with Restored Right Sydney Pty Ltd ABN 85 660 135 562, trading as Restored Right. By using this website, submitting an enquiry or booking a service, you agree to these terms.
2. Emergency and service availability
Restored Right provides flood restoration, water extraction, drying, mould remediation, steam cleaning and specialist cleaning services across Sydney. Emergency response times, same-day attendance and service availability depend on job location, technician availability, access, safety, traffic, weather, equipment availability and the nature of the incident.
Any response-time wording on the website is a service aim, not a guaranteed arrival time unless confirmed in writing for a specific job.
3. Quotes, estimates and scope
Initial quotes or estimates may be based on the information you provide by phone, form, email, photos or the booking form. The final price and scope may change after inspection if the job is larger, more complex, contaminated, unsafe, requires extra equipment, requires specialist trades, or differs from the information originally supplied.
We will aim to explain material scope or price changes before carrying out additional work where practical, especially for non-emergency work.
4. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate job information, safe and lawful property access, permission for us to attend the property, relevant site hazards, parking or access instructions, details of power availability and any insurance, strata, tenant or owner requirements that may affect the work.
Where a job involves tenants, strata, property managers, insurers or other decision-makers, you must ensure you have authority to request the work or provide the correct authorised contact.
5. Health, safety and contaminated areas
Flood water, sewage, mould, biohazard and contamination work can involve health and safety risks. We may refuse, pause or modify work if a site is unsafe, access is restricted, required information is missing, specialist licensed work is required, or the job presents risks that need further assessment or controls.
6. Specialist trades and licensed work
Where plumbing, electrical, building, asbestos, structural, hazardous material or other licensed specialist work is required, that work must be carried out by appropriately licensed personnel or referred to a suitable provider. Restored Right’s restoration and cleaning work does not replace professional engineering, building, plumbing, electrical, medical or legal advice.
7. Insurance documentation
We may provide photos, moisture readings, reports, invoices or job information to assist customers, property managers or insurers. However, insurance cover, claim approval, payout decisions and policy interpretation are determined by the insurer and are not guaranteed by Restored Right.
8. Payments, invoices and cancellations
Payment terms, deposits, call-out fees, equipment hire periods, cancellation fees or progress payments may be confirmed when you book or accept a quote. If a customer cancels after a technician has been dispatched, after equipment has been allocated, or after work has started, reasonable fees may apply for attendance, labour, equipment, materials or administration already incurred.
9. Photos, job records and before-and-after images
We may take photos, videos, moisture readings and job notes for assessment, safety, reporting, insurance, quality control, invoicing and dispute handling. We will avoid publishing identifying customer information without permission. Where project images are used for marketing, we aim to remove or avoid clear identifying details such as private addresses, names and personal information.
10. Website information
The information on this website is general information only. It is provided to explain our services and does not replace a property inspection or professional advice specific to your situation. We aim to keep website information accurate, but we do not warrant that all content is complete, current or error-free at all times.
11. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Where permitted by law, our liability is limited to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having the service supplied again.
12. External links and third-party tools
This website may link to third-party tools such as booking, forms, maps, social media or job-management platforms. Those services are operated by third parties and may have their own terms and privacy policies.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts or tribunals with jurisdiction in New South Wales, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
